Today is April 1st and no fooling, I feel better than ever. We finished the 30 day challenge, and while I didn’t hit my exact goals, I did have progress I didn’t expect. I did a lot of running the last month. Around 120 miles to be exact. For someone that couldn’t do anything 6 months ago, I think that is pretty amazing.
My weight today is 185. When I set out, I said I would try to get to 180 and see how that felt. I am almost there, am wearing size 34 pants and size large shirts down from 42 pants and xxlarge shirts. I feel like I have a few more pounds to lose, but I am really feeling comfortable with myself for the first time. I am running my first half marathon on April 30 and I am stoked beyond belief.
My goal for April is to complete my half marathon, of course. I would also like to drop another 20 pounds. We will see. As of this April fools day, I feel leaner, happier and ready to take on new challenges.
